Many Cape Cod Bay beaches have these qualities and are ideal for families with children seeking a low-key beach vacation.

Others like Craigville in Barnstable and Cahoon Hollow in Wellfleet attract a more party-oriented crowd. Some beaches, like Nauset in Orleans and Sandy Neck in Sandwich, even allow limited 4WD vehicle access during the season.
